How To Capture Your Ipod Screen!!

Ever want to show your friend the score you got on a game or read an article online later?? While now you can..... without jailbreaking your ipod. All you have to do is hold the home and power button down at the same time and release them after a second. There is little use for this besides what I mentioned above, but nonetheless it is pretty cool to know your ipod can do this!! And who knows this may come in handy.

How to use your Ipod Touch/ Iphone as a Wireless Mouse

www.tenjin.org

Itunes Goes Plus

Itunes is making the move from almost all protected songs to unprotected songs. This may not sound good but it is. Before Itunes would only let you play the songs you bought on 5 computers, but now that number won't matter. Also they made it difficult to put your songs on other mp3 players and cell phones. This barrier is being removed by apple but it is still at a cost. To unprotect the songs that have already bought you will have to cough up 30 cents a song!!

How to use your mac computer as an xbox wireless adapter

Any IP ranges using the 10.0.x.x or 192.168.x.x ranges will work. It's best if you don't use the same IP range as your router. If your router has an IP of 192.168.1.1 use a 10.0.x.x range and vice versa. I'll use the 10.0.0.x range for example...

Mac OS 10.4.x ( TIger )

1) System Preferences-->Network-->Built-in Ethernet-->TCP/IP

2) Set Configure IPv4: to Manually

- Set IP Address: to 10.0.0.1

- Set Subnet Mask: to 255.255.255.0

3) System Preferences-->Sharing-->Internet

4) Set Share your connection from: to Airport

- Set To computers using: to Built-in Ethernet

- Click Start and than Start again

Mac OS 10.5.x ( Leopard )

1) System Preferences-->Network-->Ethernet

2) Set Configure: to Manually

- Set IP Address: to 10.0.0.1

- Set Subnet Mask: to 255.255.255.0

3) System Preferences-->Sharing-->Internet Sharing

4) Set Share your connection from: to Airport

- Set To computers using: to Ethernet

- Click the checkbox ( to place a checkmark ) next to Internet Sharing to start the service

- Click Start

XBOX 360

1) While in the Dashboard, navigate to My Xbox-->System Settings

2) Network Settings-->Configure Network-->IP Settings-->Manual

3) Set IP Address to 10.0.0.2 ( The first three segments i.e. 10.0.0 will need to match what you set in step #2 of the Mac OS X section )

- Set Subnet Mask to 255.255.255.0

- Set Gateway to 10.0.0.1 ( What you set in step #2 under the Mac OS X section )

- Click Done

4) Go to DNS Settings

*** NOTE: I set the primary to my router and the secondary to my ISP's primary. You can find your router's IP by going to your MacBook and to System Preferences-->Network-->Airport-->TCP/IP ( 10.4.x ) or System Preferences-->Network-->Airport-->Advanced-->TCP/IP ( 10.5.x )

*** NOTE: You can usually find your ISP's DNS servers in your routers status page, see the manual that came with your router for more information
